SPOTLIGHT
Belstaff is best known for producing high-performance
waterproof jackets since 1924. Since then, the collection
expanded and the brand has been very visible amongst
Hollywood stars and blockbuster movies. Belstaff appeared on
Brad & Angie's films and now their kids get to wear the rock
and roll clothing brand as well. From big brothers Maddox
and Pax to little Knox, the Jolie-Pitt boys sure know how to
dress it cool like their parents. -

ANGELINA ON
NIGHTLINE
As promised Angelina was featured on Nightline with the
rest of the interview from Cynthia McFadden of ABC news.
Two-part videos are available at the
Media Vault. Thanks LLM! I've made screen
caps of the feature as well and uploaded it to the
gallery plus a photo of Angie at the Newseum in
Washington, D.C. on July 9. Thanks SamJam!
Brad is hard at work on his new movie, Moneyball in Los
Angeles, California on Monday. The Jolie-Pitt patriarch
is looking extra hot as he shaved his infamous goatee
which he never trimmed while on vacation from work while
Angie films Salt and The Tourist.
Chris Pratt has been added to the cast of
Sony's long-gestating pro-baseball film
"Moneyball," playing former Oakland A's
first baseman Scott Hatteberg, the actor's
reps announced Monday.
Pratt, who stars in the NBC Thursday-night
comedy "Parks and Recreation," joins a cast
that already includes Brad PItt, Robyn
Wright, Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour
Hoffman.
"Moneyball" is based on Michael Lewis' 2003
nonficiton book about Oakland A's general
manager Bill Beane, who consistently built
pennant-contending teams based on innovative
metrics and not enormous salaries.
Bennett Miller is now directing "Moneyball,"
which was revived at Sony after Steven
Soderbergh departed from the project.
The film is being produced by Scott Rudin
and Michael DeLuca, and written by Steve
Zaillian and Aaron Sorkin.
Cynthia McFadden sits down with Angie for an interview
about her life with Brad and the kids and her new movie,
'Salt.' Huge thanks to SamJam and LLM!
I've added screen caps from the interview and expect
more from Cynthia's talk with Angie on Nightline
tonight.

wanted to be a Bond girl -- but she had
always wanted to be Bond. She gets her

Jolie plays the tough-as-nails CIA agent
Evelyn Salt. She's a spy -- but there's a
catch. Are things what they seem, or is
Evelyn Salt, CIA agent, actually part of a
sleeper cell ... spying for Russia?
Happy 2nd birthday to the adorable Jolie-Pitt twins,
Knox & Vivienne! It's exactly two years since the
celebrated birth of Brad & Angie's littlest in Nice,
France. The two will have a big party with Mom and Dad
and big brothers Maddox and Pax and big sisters, Zahara
and Shiloh. Happy Birthday Knox & Viv!
The SALT movie promo is in full swing as Angie kicks off
the North American promo tour in Washington, DC for the
film's press junket. Videos are available at the
Media Vault and I've added caps of Angie's interview
via WISN and Entertainment Tonight. Remember, Angie will
be on Good Morning America and Nightline on Monday, July
12. :)
Both Megamind and Salt will have its participation at
the coming 2010 Comic-Con International in San Diego,
California. There's no word yet if Brad and Angie will
attend the events of their movies which will be on the
same day. Here is the program for Thursday, July 22.
10:00-11:00 DreamWorks Animation:
Megamind— DreamWorks Animation makes its
Comic-Con debut with Megamind. The

crash-lands inside a maximum-security
prison, where he evolves into the wicked and
diabolical genius he is today, while the
dashingly handsome superhero Metro Man grows
into the universally adored savior of Metro
City, beloved by every man, woman and child
-- and especially the city's ace reporter
Roxanne Ritchi. These life-long archenemies
will rewrite superhero movie lore when they
challenge each other to the ultimate
showdown of Good vs. Evil! Megamind stars
Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Jonah Hill and
director Tom McGrath join forces to unveil

Salt -- Opening in theaters everywhere
tomorrow, Columbia Pictures brings an
exclusive and surprising look at Salt to
Comic-Con today, featuring some very special
guests. As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt
(Angelina Jolie) swore an oath to duty,
honor and country. Her loyalty will be
tested when a defector accuses her of being
a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using
all her skills and years of experience as a
covert operative to elude capture, but her
efforts to prove her innocence only serve to
cast doubt on her motives as the hunt to
uncover the truth behind her identity
continues and the question remains: "Who is
Salt?" Hall H
'Salt' Star
Angelina Jolie Dishes on Rebellious Past,
Run-Ins With the Paparazzi and Love for Brad
Pitt
PARADE's July 11 cover story is a one-on-one
sit-down with Salt star, Angelina Jolie, who
speaks with PARADE's Dotson Rader about
everything from her home life with Brad Pitt
and their children to her late mother, a
rebellious youth, and run-ins with the
paparazzi. Here are some highlights from
PARADE's cover story.
When Rader asks if their children are the
reason she and Brad stay together, "she
looks at me like I am nuts." Jolie tells
Dotson: "The children certainly tie us
together, but a relationship won't hold if
it's only about the kids. You also must be
really interested in each other and have a
really, really wonderful, exciting time
together. We do. Brad and I love being
together. We enjoy it. We need it, and we
always find that special time. We stay
connected. We talk about it. It's very
important. If Brad and I are strong and
happy, then our kids have happy parents, and
that's the best thing we can give them." She
adds, "Brad knows me completely, exactly as
I am, every part of me. He loves me. The
kids love me. They know all my flaws and all
my oddities. And they accept them. And so I
can feel complete."
On knowing love...
"I feel sad for someone who has never known
love. Love elevates. You know, Brad would
joke about me having this conversation about
love. Love? It's such a funny word. Brad can
find certain phrases of poetry for it. I'm
terrible at it. But I know it means wanting
the best for the people you love, putting
their interests above your own, always. Love
does that. Love is what you live for."
Today's MPAA ratings deliver one of the most
interesting updates to date and not because
of the rating but because Terrence Malick's
long delayed The Tree of Life has an MPAA
rating and instead of listing Apparition as
the distributor it lists Cottonwood
Pictures, Inc., which is actually the
production company.
I put a phone call into the MPAA and they
were able to confirm this is Malick's
picture, it is finished in terms of music,
effects, etc. and it was screened for the
Ratings Board within the last of couple of
weeks. I wasn't able to get information on a
running time and they also have no
additional information in terms of how the
film will be handled, but in light of recent
reports Apparition was being restructured
and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions
Group moving the Kristen Stewart and James
Gandolfini feature Welcome To The Rileys
from Apparition to Samuel Goldwyn there is
no telling what this means for Tree of Life.
