PAX THIEN
JOLIE-PITT
N10° 46' 00" E106° 41' 40"
Pax Thien was born November 29, 2003 in
Vietnam. His birth name was Pham Quang Sang
and was changed to Pax Thien when Angie and
Brad adopted him on March of 2007. It was
later revealed by Angelina that the name Pax
was one of her late mother's suggestions
when they were choosing a name for Shiloh.

The second boy of Brad and Angie is the
"wildest"
in the Jolie-Pitt household, as
said by Mom Angie. Pax spent the first three
years of his life in an orphanage in Vietnam
before coming home to his parents in 2007.
This is something that Angie noted when she
said Pax is the "wild one" in the family.
Describing that behavior as a result of
having a sudden freedom which he never
really experienced while in the orphanage.
Adopting an older child is something that
Angie decided on when she got together with
Brad knowing that having a partner with her
to raise children together is the key to
make bold decisions in adoption. As children
get older, it becomes more difficult for
them to be adopted.
Pax is somewhat fearless as well, based on
candids of the kid feeding whales and always
up on his feet on the stern or port of
boats. Brad was once overheard calling him "Paxie."
Cute. If his big brother Madd started the
Mohawk trend on kids, Pax also had
hairstyles on his own maybe even more than
his brother and certainly following his
dad's numerous hairstyles. No cuts where
made on his hair since coming home with the
family and even had blonde highlights on it.
His long hair certainly add an edge to his
free-spirit attitude. He showed a new
haircut when the family visited Japan and
fittingly, the cut almost resembles some
Asian pop stars. Pax showed a shorter hair
cut during a trip to Dunkin' Donuts with his
dad and brother Madd.
Pax seemed to love Kung Fu, showing some
moves against his brother during a visit to
New Orleans. Being a Jolie-Pitt means extra
attention from paparazzi and at first, Pax
showed curiosity over them. In the recent
candids however, it is clear the camera
flashes bothers the young kid. But that
doesn't deter the would-be rock star. Pax
had his share of face paints, temporary
tattoos and even painted fingernails. I bet
he enjoyed that concert he saw with his dad
and brother. His tie-with-no-shirt fashion
choice is adorable at the family photoshoot
with him holding and looking lovingly at his
newborn brother, Knox. - JPO |
